"We checked in at 2:30 understanding that check-in was at 3pm. The room wasn't ready which was okay with us. We left our bags in the room and said no problem. We would be back later. We returned to the hotel at 5pm exhausted from having started traveling at 4:15 am. We were looking forward to taking a nap before going out to dinner. The room had not been touched. It was disgustingly dirty - still. My husband said the toilet seat wouldn't even stay up. We left and found another hotel. Returned to Amerihost, gathered our belongings and left. We were not charged. The location of Ameri-host would have been so much more convenient for us, but it was worth it to travel an extra 15 miles every time we went into visit my mother.
Also the hot tub was not working. All in all it was a most unpleasant experience and I will never set foot in another Ameri-host again."
